Future- 3 Years
In three years I see myself at North Broward Prep in 12th grade. My brand will get me there because I will hopefully still be playing hockey.
Group Involvement
I was in a group activity with my friend. We were in 7th grade science and had to make the coral reef in a shoe box. I made a few of the fish, got most of the supplies, and painted the box. Unique skills that came up was molding and molding the clay to look like fish, painting the box with the right color blue and not getting it on anything else, and pouring the sand in without it getting all over the place.

US Schools Under My Control
If I had control over the current
educational design in the US' format I would change many things. School would
be Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There would be certain classes on certain
days. Yes, I do like school on some days, but I rather be at home able to sleep
in and hang out with my friends. I would change shorter hours to the school
days, good lunch, and not as many classes. You choose the classes that you
like.
The first thing I would
change is shorter hours. I would start school at 10 and end at 3. Kids would
come to school more well rested, and ready to learn. They wouldn’t complain
their tired and they could still be with their friends at later hours of the
night.
The second thing I would
change is better lunches. I would either bring food in from other restaurants,
or it would be freshly, home cooked. None of the microwave junk. There will be
different items to buy each day. They won’t be just fast food restaurants, they
will be healthy, yet delicious.
The third thing I would
change is not as many classes. Some kids don’t like to take PE or band, or art,
so they would get to choose the class of what their talented in. Instead of
seven periods, you will have 3 classes one day, and 4 the other, and then they
would be mixed up for the third day of school each week. It will keep the kids
focused, and they will have to pay attention, and that is always good for the
mind.
I would change shorter hours to
the school days, good lunch, and not as many classes. Yes, some people may
disagree with me others not. That is just a fact in life. That is what I would
do if I had control over the current educational design in the US’s format.

A Memorable Moment in My Life that Changed Me
A
memorable moment in my life that changed me is when I learned how to tie my
shoe. When my mom, dad, and I were driving from my Grandma and Grandpa’s house
in Ocala, Florida. I had a little book for kids learning to count, spell, and
then there was to laces on a flat shoe in the book. I was trying so hard, and
on a 5 hour car ride I knew I would learn. It was my third time trying and the
next thing I knew I had just learned how to tie a shoe. I was so happy. My mom
was thrilled and my dad was even happier. That changed me because it showed
that I was capable of achieving anything I put my mind to.

My Artifact
I chose my hockey stick as my artifact. I play hockey and without this I couldn't play. My hockey stick is very important to me. I have many hockey sticks but this one is my favorite. That's why I chose my hockey stick as my artifact.
